Gerry has been our go-to RV tech this year for the systems on our Bark & Mane mobile grooming vans, and I can’t recommend him enough. A grooming van is basically a small RV: water heater, fresh water, shore power, an inverter, and a high-powered dryer. When one of those goes down, appointments get cancelled, and Gerry gets that.

Before his first visit for our water heater, he called the van builder to get the technical specs so he showed up prepared. I texted him on a Sunday night about a leak on a brand new van and he offered to be there at 8 the next morning. When one of our groomers pulled away still plugged in and damaged the 30-amp power receptacle, he had the part by late morning and replaced it on-site at a customer’s address while my groomer kept working. When our dryer died while I was traveling, he coordinated directly with my groomers, found a bad control knob on the first visit, jumpered it to prove the diagnosis, and set it up to bill the warranty directly so nothing came out of my pocket. My groomer says it kicks on faster now than it did before it broke.

He explains the why behind each fix and is honest about what’s cosmetic versus what actually needs attention. When he was booked, he gave me other techs to try, then fit us in the next afternoon anyway.  He's been great to work with and I would absolutely recommend his services.

Called The RV Geek (Gerry) and he was able to stop by the park.  About an hour later he took the mirror off, replaced screws with bolts and put it all back together. Once he realized the details of the fix he respectfully declined. Then he emailed me some things to try to clear my tank. The next day he called me with a referral to someone closer and does this type of repair. He then brought the new repair team by to show them the job. He never even wanted money.
