    Update Update Update Update We just returned from a trip through Canada and the Rockies and it worked wonderfully. The most important thing to know about buying a GPS is to update them right out of the box. All GPS units are ALWAYS back level when you purchase them new or “certified”. Many of the other less reviews I have read are due to needing updates. The updates are not just for the maps. They are for GPS Operating Systems and are critical.     Downloadable Maps Do Not Work Yet I purchased this unit after carefully reviewing its capabilities versus those of competing units. One important feature that led my evaluation was the ability to use maps from other regions. To download a Garmin map into the unit, one must use of a free app called Garmin Express. Unfortunately, as of the writing of this review, Garmin Express does not allow the installation of new regional maps with the Drive 61 or 51 units.
