    Great cord, perfect companion to the radar detector. I bought this cord even though the cord that came with the radar detector (Whistler Pro78) was still fully functional. The reason being I hated having to reach up to change the mode and or mute/un-mute the radar detector white driving (depending on what type of car you have, and where the radar detector is mounted, this could be a long reach).     Does What is was designed for Works great for me! It appears that some folks that down rated this cord don’t understand how to use the end button. It has one button on the end that can tell the radar detector 2 things depending how long you press it. I read the radar detector’s manual (wink) and then programmed it to interpret the button presses just the opposite of default. There are many other choices.
