Know Before You Buy!

Are you considering buying or selling an RV? Congratulations! We’ll Get an Inspection!

As you prepare to make one of the largest investments of your lifetime, we want to remind you that purchasing an RV is a complex process. Its intricate systems, appliances, and mechanical components can easily lead to overlooked issues if you’re not careful.

That’s where Mobile RV Service and Inspections comes in. We’ll take charge and cover all aspects of the inspection for you.

Don’t let the thrill of a new adventure cloud your judgment! Instead, prioritize a thorough, unbiased inspection by a reputable Mobile RV Service company like ours. Don’t rely solely on the dealer’s service department; they may make innocent oversights, over oversights, that could delay the sale or cause stress later.

The Benefits of an Independent Inspection

As buyers, you deserve peace of mind when making such a significant investment. Our comprehensive inspection will identify problems and inspire confidence in your purchase.

As sellers, having an inspection performed before listing allows you to present your RV, disclosing any known issues, giving you time to proactively repair them, and ultimately building trust with potential buyers, giving confidence that the RV or camper is worthy of your asking price.

At Mobile RV Service and Inspections, we’ve learned the hard way that relying on sellers’ disclosures can lead to disappointing, frustrating, and costly repairs later. That’s why we’re passionate about helping others avoid this mistake.

Our Comprehensive Inspection Service

We’ll take charge and visually inspect your RV from tip to tail, identifying potential issues before they become significant
problems, with a detailed report outlining our findings. Our inspections cover all major systems, including:

  • Electrical: 120-volt and 12-volt systems
  • Propane: tanks, regulators, and lines
  • Mechanical: leveling systems, retractable awnings, slide-out rooms, and more
  • Plumbing: Leaking faucets, gaskets, fresh water, grey and black water systems.
  • Appliances: Water Heaters, Stoves, Ovens, Microwaves, and Refrigerators
  • Environmental: Vent Fans, Furnaces, Air conditioners
  • Structural: Water damage, Skylights, and mechanical damage.

Optionally, we’ll conduct Oil and Coolant analysis to determine the mechanical health of the engine.

Our detailed report will help you clearly understand your RV’s condition and make an informed decision before buying or selling. Don’t risk repeating our costly mistake – contact us today to schedule an inspection!

What Happens Next?

You should request that the seller agrees to let us inspect their RV, and we’ll set up a time and place to do so. We aim to
complete the inspection within a few days of the request.

We’ll arrive at the scheduled time, and the inspection will begin. It may take several hours to complete. The seller and you are welcome to be present during the inspection, but our inspector won’t answer any questions until the final report is written and submitted to you.

What Do We Need for the Inspection?

To ensure a thorough inspection, please park your RV in an accessible area, plug it into shore power, and hook up water with the fresh tank at least 3/4 full. Additionally, make sure the refrigerator/freezer is on, preferably for 24 hours prior to the inspection on shore power. Ideally, the weather will be dry to facilitate safe access to the roof.

Stay Where You Are, We’ll Be Right There

As with all of our work, our team will come to you. There is no need to transport your camper or RV to a facility, leave it for days or weeks, only to have to go pick it up again. Whether it is in your driveway, a camp-site, or in storage, we will do our best to accommodate your needs, schedule, and location.

Just contact us, and we’ll take care of the rest.
